APPLICATION
The utilization of General Rapid Primer as first coat is aimed to avoid powder and porosity of the concrete surfaces, permitting a fast application of the bituminous membranes, both in the torch on application and in cold application with bituminous glues, as “General Glue”. The product is characterized by the rapid drying of the film, the optimal penetration and adhesion to the support, the absence of superficial tackiness.

Bituminous primer composed by oxided bitumen and organic solvents.

USE OF THE PRODUCT
The concrete surfaces to be treated should be as dry as possible, clean and free from loose particles. The product is ready to use either by brush, broom or spray. When applying bituminous membranes on concrete, be sure the layer is perfectly dry, otherwise, use a specific for wet surfaces primer. The drying time depends on the porosity of the surface, on the thickness of the film and both on surface and external temperatures. Usually the product dries within 1 hour from the application. The time could rise to 2 hours in case of bigger thickness of the film, hard temperatures or not so absorbent surface.
The primer yield varies from 200 to 350 g/m2.
The tools can be cleaned with synthetic or nitro diluents.

SAFETY RULES
The product doesn’t suffer from the cold.
Do not expose the drums to temperature higher than 40°C or lower than 0°C.
Apply the material only in ambient where the aeration is adequate.
